Alhaji Sunmola Dies At 78

The death has been announced in Lagos of Alhaji Safiriyu Abiodun Sunmola at age of 78 years, a Philanthropist and Chieftain of the the All Progressives Congress ((APC) in Shomolu Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Until his death last evening (Thursday, April 20, 2017) he was a member of the party leaders representing the Lagos East Senatorial Lagos State District, in Governor’s Advisory Committee (GAC), a distinguished body of selected leaders established by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his governorship tenure of the state.
A devout Muslim and successful Businessman, Alhaji Sumola, came into political lamplight, when he was elected a Councillor and appointed the Vice-Chairman of old Shomolu Local Government by late Lawyer Ogunbashe, the council chairman during the zero party elections of 1987.
His remains shall be buried today according to Islamic rights
