APC Eti-Osa LG Implements Party Directive.

The APC Leadership of Eti-Osa Local Government, has carried out the directive of the Lagos State Executive Council of the Party, to the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Area Chapters of the state.
Directive of the superior organ of the party carried out by Eti-Osa, is to prone down the number of the Chairmanship aspirants in their locality, to a manageable proportion.
The LGA Chairman, Chief Kolawole Shade, in a chat with APC Watch, revealed that only three capable gentlemen are now remain in the contest, after the efforts of the party leadership, headed by Omoba Murphy Adetoro and others in LGA to carry out the party directive, by brokering a couple of meetings with almost ten prominent members of the party including these three, before attaining this laudable feat.
The three Chairmanship aspirants that are going for the Party primary election are Hon. Shuaib Alaba Ajayi, the immediate past Executive Secretary of the Local Government Council, who served as Deputy Chairman under Hon. Anafiu Olarewaju Elegushi for two terms and about the most experienced of the three, but the result of the primary election, would determine if that achievement is of importance to the people or not.
Also running for the ticket is a political scientists with Masters degree from the prestigious University of Lagos, who is a descendant of the great Oba Eshinokun of Lagos, who also related to the Akran ruling family of Badagry through his material grandmother, is very passionate about his plans to give Eti-Osa the best of every thing, says "A better Developed Eti-Osa: It can be done" this is what he as promised his people, if given the opportunity to serve in that high brow area of the state.
Going by Obafemi's very reach Blue Print and Action Plans for Eti-Osa, a document that gives brief detail of his biography, one could see that, he has no political anticident, but then he has proven to be a technocrat who has taken pains to fashion out something good for his people and that is why is he rounded up the beautiful presentation with "Join me.... Together we can build our New Eti-Osa"
The third on the list is Hon. Saheed Adesegun Bankole, a graduate of public administration from the Lagos State University of Lagos (LASU) , who at various times, have served the Local Government as a Councilor and Supervisor for Health in the past.
In the course of holding these offices, have attended some courses and seminars locally and abroad, that have prepared him for the challenges of a council chairman.
Part of which were ICT Training Workshop for Legislative aides held at the National Assembly Abuja in 2007 and others at the National Democratic Institute, Abuja n2005, Morgan Consult, Conference Centre, University of Ibadan in 1997 as well at the Institute of Administration, Ahmadu Bello University1997
Prior to the implementation of the directive, the local government area, was parading a lots of well experience people in local government administration, which included a lady, who have held series of offices including that of Chairman, Market Development and Revenue Generation Committee of the local government, Hon. Labake Abeke Adeyeye.
