In line with the All Progressives Congress (APC) manifesto, to give people Qualitative and Affordable Health Services, the American trained Sole Administrator of Lagos Island (East) Local Government Development Area, Hon. Abiola Bashir Are, has used his influence to bring his friends, who are Medically trained in the United States of America, to give free health services to his constituents.

A two day free health programme, titled MEDICAL MISSION, which was organized by the government of Lagos Island (East) Local Government Development Area, started on Monday24th and ended in the evening of Tuesday 25th April 2917.

 

The government of Lagos Island East in partnership with the Association of Nigerian Physicians In America (ANPA) and the First Consultant Medical Center, implemented the Health Programme that lasted 2 Days at the Freedom Park, Broad Street, Lagos,

Hon. Abiola Bashir Are, Sole Administrator himself, flagged off The MEDICAL MISSION, which saw many people of the LCDA, who trooped out in large numbers, enjoining, Free Medical checkups,Free Medical Advice and Free Minor Surgeries.

 

Amongst those who enjoyed medical attentions yesterday was a 16 years old girl who was referred to the hospital First Consultant Medical Center, for further attention on her ailment which was dagonized of Tuberculoses.

 

Speaking with the APC Watch at the occasion, the Sole Administrator, said among others, "It is the responsibility of a good government to place in high esteem, the good health of the people, hence we have gone into this partnership to further demonstrate our commitment to that"

He also thanked the Association of Nigerian Physicians In America (ANPA) and the First Consultant Medical Center for their inestimable contributions to success of the 

2 days programme.
